Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement effective treatment programs to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities in patients. This role also involves supervising support staff, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and actively contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medically necessary physical therapy services in a professional and ethical manner.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Document treatment, progress, and medical necessity clearly and in a timely manner.
• Supervise and guide physical therapist assistants and aides.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in facility and team meetings, as required.
• Maintain compliance with state Practice Act, Medicare, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Contribute to clinical program development and center operations.
• Maintain CPR certification and participate in continuing education as required by licensure.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent (for internationally educated therapists).
• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification meeting state requirements.
• Strong clinical reasoning, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/Week (5*8)
