Job Title: Clinical Psychologist – Outpatient

Location: Bronx, NY (Hybrid: 1 day onsite/ Week)

About the Role:

A growing behavioral health practice is seeking a compassionate, evidence-based Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient team. This hybrid role allows for the flexibility of working remotely while providing in-person patient care once a week at our Bronx location. You will provide behavioral health services to patients, including those covered under Medicare and Medicaid , and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred by Primary Care Providers using evidence-based tools.
• Provide treatment for behavioral health conditions using approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Behavioral Activation , and crisis intervention.
• Make treatment recommendations and refer patients to psychiatrists when appropriate.
• Monitor client progress through clinical documentation and coordinate care with other healthcare providers and health home teams.
• Provide crisis intervention services and perform risk assessments as needed.
• Engage clients who have limited utilization of behavioral health services through outreach efforts.
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (Ph.D. / PsyD).
• Current New York State registration as a psychologist.
• Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid patients.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care.
