Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary

The Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT(N)) is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Operate nuclear medicine equipment and related software systems efficiently.
Ensure accurate positioning and attenuation correction techniques.
Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals following regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
Communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Troubleshoot image quality issues and ensure technical accuracy.
Provide empathy and patience when dealing with anxious or uncooperative patients.
Respond effectively to emergency situations using quick decision-making skills.

Work Schedule & Requirements
Rotating shifts every other week: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Three days of call per year, with no weekend shifts.
Relocation assistance available.

Compensation & Benefits
$20,000 Sign-on Bonus available.

QualificationsGraduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program (Required).Certification by ARRT(N) or NMTCB (Required).Proficiency in nuclear medicine equipment operation.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging techniques.
