Day 4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) with 4-5 weekend shifts required within a 6-week matrix.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will scrub and circulate in various specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma.

Responsibilities

• Function independently in multiple specialties, performing scrubbing and circulating duties.
• Provide care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with surgical teams.
• Assure compliance with infection control protocols and perform patient safety protocols, including the Universal Protocol.
• Participate in call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Level I Trauma experience is preferred; Level II Trauma experience is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with the Davinci Xi robot; familiarity with DV5 is a plus.
• Experience in scrubbing and circulating for various surgeries as listed in the role description.
