Night shift: 3x12-Hour (03:00 - 15:00). Requires every 3rd weekend coverage.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) is a 74-bed department within a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. The ED has a 3-bed trauma bay and a secure unit for behavioral health patients, providing excellent multidisciplinary support to ensure high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Participate in patient assessment and care planning involving trauma and critical care scenarios.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform necessary technical skills and procedures as required by the situation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred), PALS (preferred), TNCC (preferred).
• Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
