Local Contract Nurse RN - Case Management - $85-90 per hour

Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN Case Management for a local contract nursing job in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Possess interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Possess analytical, data management and PC skills.
• Organizational and time management skills, as evidenced by capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in interactions with physicians, payors, and patients and their families.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience, preferred.
• Current working knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, case management, performance improvement and managed care reimbursement, preferred.

Required Education:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing, required.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.

REQUIRED: 

• Minimum 5 years acute inpatient case management experience with experience in acute discharge planning.
• BLS certification through AHA
• Previous experience using CarePort system.
• Candidates with previous experience charting in AllScripts
• Must be willing and able to be on the floor with patients and who can acclimate very quickly. 

GEMS/Sunrise are preferred.
