Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join a compassionate, patient-focused team in an acute care hospital environment. This role is crucial in providing support to mothers and families throughout the childbirth process, from admission through postpartum care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care during labor, delivery, and recovery phases
• Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and progression of labor
• Administer medications and assist with epidurals, inductions, and other obstetric procedures
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
• Educate and support patients and families throughout labor and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience preferred
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and AWHONN certifications a plus
• Strong communication skills, calm under pressure, and committed to patient-centered care
