Director of Surgical Services

Overview

· 4 ORs, 3 Endo Rooms

· Strong ortho program doing a lot of hips and knees, Mako Robot. General surgery – will launch DaVinci robot. Sports medicine physician – shoulders, small joints. Surgeon from sister facility is going to open a clinic to restart GYN in November.

· 7 cases on a light day, up to 26 on busy day. On call for weekends

· Director is over all areas of surgical services – OR, SPD, pre post, PACU, endo

· Great relationship with anesthesia

Growth Strategies

· Upgrading central sterile, upgrading equipment for Davinci (overhaul for that space to accommodate)

· Bachelor's degree in nursing required · 3+ years of experience in a leadership role · Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required · Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred · Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred Ideal candidate experience: · Surgical Services leadership experience required (Manager or Director experience)
