Starting Pay Range: $29.70-$43.08, DOE.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue.
Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition.
Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout.
Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff.
Evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices.
May assist physicians during diagnostic procedures (depending on the facility).
Promote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings.

Minimum requirements: Must be ARRT registered. Mammography license or certification required. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in mammography is ideal.
