Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammographic exams for screening and diagnostic purposes.
Assist physicians with stereotactic biopsies and needle localization procedures.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during imaging procedures.
Maintain accurate records and document all performed exams in EMR/PACS.
Follow all ACR, MQSA, and facility protocols for imaging and quality assurance.
Educate patients on procedures, positioning, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Mammography Tech experience.
At least 1 year of procedural experience (stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations).

Licenses & Certifications

ARRT-R & ARRT-M (Mammography)
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) – Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
