Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technician will be responsible for supporting various interventional radiology procedures with a focus on neuro and stroke interventions. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the maintenance of sterile conditions, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including neuro and stroke interventions.
• Maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Operate radiologic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic charting system (Epic preferred).
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and evenings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience in interventional radiology.
• Experience in neuro and stroke interventions is mandatory.
• Certifications: ARRT R, BLS (ARRT Advanced Certification preferred).
• Experience with Siemens and Philips x-ray equipment is required.
• Must be open to travel; prior travel experience preferred.
