Senior Vice President Servicing Administration

Base Salary up to $125k DOE

Location: Houston Texas- On site

Position Overview: A growing financial institution is seeking a Vice President of Servicing Administration to lead the loan servicing function. This role will oversee all facets of loan boarding, monthly payment processing, reconciliation, and loan accounting, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency. The SVP will manage a small team and is expected to be hands-on, working closely with the team while providing leadership and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure accurate loan boarding and maintenance within the servicing system.
• Manage monthly loan payment processing, account reconciliation, and loan accounting functions.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a team of servicing professionals while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations.
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance servicing accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for loan servicing operations.
• Maintain robust controls and audit readiness across all servicing functions.

Qualifications:

• Significant loan servicing experience, including loan boarding, payment processing, reconciliation, and loan accounting.
• Prior managerial experience overseeing servicing teams, ideally at a financial institution with $3B+ in assets.
• Strong hands-on operational skills not just supervisory.
• Familiarity with servicing systems and related technologies.
• Background or experience as a paralegal is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
