POSITION SUMMARY - LMSW Transplant Social Worker
POSITION DUTIES - Responsible for direct clinical services to transplant patients and families, including evaluation of appropriateness for transplant and education regarding the transplant process. Assesses need for patient and family interventions and provides referral or intermittent counseling and crisis intervention. Coordinates referrals to community resources. Serves as a resource to the department for psychosocial services, policies and practices.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -

Master's Degree Social Work, Social Services or equivalent course of study
LMSW or LCSW - licensed in PA
1 year experience as Transplant Social Worker in an outpatient setting, excluding internship training *OR* 1 year General Experience as a Transplant Social Worker in a hospital setting or equivalent if transplant responsibilities and experience is demonstrated

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Oncology Social Worker Cert
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT - 13 weeks
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK - 07:00 - 15:30 (40hrs/wk)
START DATE - 10/20/2025
