The Hilton Americas-Houston is looking for their next Line Cook. Connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, Hilton Americas-Houston is the city's largest convention hotel. Located in the heart of downtown, Hilton Americas-Houston delivers world class hospitality in a vibrant, fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant kitchen. You will have a flexible schedule to support various outlets. You will have excellent organization skills and the ability to independently work quickly and with precision. Creativity, passion, dedication and a hunger to learn and progress is essential!

As a Line Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Work various kitchen line stations
• Support fellow team members on the kitchen line
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
