Job Description

Job Summary: Prepares parts for braze by nickel blasting and braze alloy application.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Applies braze paste to parts ensuring a uniform application.
• Deburrs parts as needed.
• Properly packages parts so they are not damaged while being transported to the next operation.
• Capable of noticing defects in parts (scratches, dents, metal thinning, poor finish) and brings defected parts to Supervisor's attention.
• In coordination with Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on heat treat equipment.
• Proceeds under general supervision.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern heat treat operations.
• Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
• Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately completes all required documentation.
• Meets attendance policy requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

Education And Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills: Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills: Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.

Reasoning Ability: Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods, and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
