Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to enhance our exceptional healthcare team. As part of the Urgent Team Family of Centers, we provide quality and affordable family healthcare at over 80 locations in the Southeast, including our 23 centers in Arkansas.

About Us:
Our walk-in centers offer a comprehensive range of healthcare services, treating injuries and illnesses, and providing occupational health and wellness care. We proudly maintain operational hours seven days a week: Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All our centers are Accredited Care Centers, showcasing our commitment to safety, quality, and extensive service offerings.

Your Role:
As an LPN, you will play a vital role in patient care, greeting visitors and supporting both patients and medical staff. Enjoy a flexible schedule with full-time roles consisting of 36-40 hours a week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. We also welcome PRN (per diem) team members for as-needed shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include:

• Welcoming and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Recording patient health histories and noting any abnormal conditions for the physician.
• Instructing patients on required tests and sample collection.
• Obtaining vital signs and escorting patients to examination rooms.
• Assisting physicians with examinations, treatments, and tests.
• Administering medications and injections as directed by physicians.
• Monitoring and reporting patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and charts.
• Assisting with scheduling tests, treatments, and referrals as instructed.
• Collecting and delivering lab specimens while obtaining test results.
• Notifying patients about test results and follow-ups.
• Cleaning and restocking exam/treatment rooms between procedures.
• Following infection control policies for hazardous waste management.
• Providing patient and family education on medications and discharge instructions.
• Keeping track of medication inventory and monitoring controlled substances.
• Screening incoming calls and triaging patients for smooth departmental flow.

Qualifications:
To be successful, you must have:

• A degree from an accredited nursing program.
• At least two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• A current LPN license in accordance with state regulations.
