Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in alignment with your professional training. You will adhere to established standards of nursing practice and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school leading to a Licensed Practical Nurse designation
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or assisted living is preferred
• Valid nursing license in the state of employment
• IV Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
• Able to assess the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents, families, and colleagues
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Critical thinking skills are essential

Compensation: Pay range is $26.96 - $43.95 per hour.
