Department Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pediatric Home Health, you will provide one-on-one care to pediatric patients in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This full-time role allows you to focus on each client's unique needs and deliver invaluable, person-centered care experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medical treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Performing duties such as vent cares, suctioning, G-Tube cares, exercise programs, and personal care.

Job Summary

As an LPN, you will be instrumental in implementing and evaluating patient care for stable and predictable patients of all ages in the home care setting. You will:

• Utilize your nursing knowledge to assess and interpret patient data effectively.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing practices while ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and foster effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and a valid unencumbered LPN license.
• Experience in pediatric care preferred.
• If required, completion of an IV therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on location.
