Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional, holistic care to our patients and ensure that they feel comforted and understood throughout their healthcare journey. As an ambulatory LPN, you will play a vital role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician, often serving as the primary nurse for a provider within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Document thorough medical histories from patients
• Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsel patients and their families on prevention and treatment plans under the guidance of a registered nurse

Qualifications

To be considered, you must:

• Have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• For positions requiring IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota, you need either completion of a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
