Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to determine donor suitability.
• Foster positive relationships with donors to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
• Inform donors of potential hazards and provide necessary education regarding their health.
• Assess and manage donor injuries and any adverse reactions.
• Evaluate medical history and medications to ensure ongoing donor eligibility.
• Assist in training new employees and manage the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Qualifications:

Must be licensed or certified in your state as an LPN, RN, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT, and possess a current CPR certification.

• Frequent bending, twisting, and use of hands for various tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and hearing acuity are essential.
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and conditions.
• Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Exposure to biological materials, electrical lab equipment, and extreme cold.
