Position Overview:

• Conduct physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors for customer satisfaction.
• Ensure confidentiality of donors and staff information.
• Inform donors about potential hazards.
• Provide general health education and counseling to donors regarding test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Assess illness history and medications to ensure donor suitability.
• Assist in employee training programs.
• Administer the Hepatitis Vaccine program for employees.

Job Requirements:

Must be currently licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. A current CPR certification is required.

Note: This position may require exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32 degrees F while working in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
