Position Overview: We are actively seeking motivated individuals with certifications as EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, LVN, or LPN to work at our Plasma Donation Center. Your valuable skills and experience will contribute significantly to the role of Center Medical Specialist.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and assess medical history to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors for optimal customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
• Inform donors about potential health hazards and provide education about general health.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events effectively.
• Assist in employee training programs.
• Administer employee Hepatitis Vaccination programs.

Qualifications:

Must be currently certified and licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. A current CPR certification is also required.

Physical and Personal Attributes Required:

• Ability to perform tasks while standing or sitting for up to 4 hours a day.
• Frequent hand movements and the capability for precise coordinated actions are essential.
• Light lifting abilities (15 lbs, with a maximum of 50 lbs) are needed.
• Good auditory acuity for communication and understanding information.
• Independently manage tasks with adaptability to changing conditions.
• Respond sensitively to information shared among diverse groups.
• Work environment includes exposure to biological materials and cold temperatures; protective equipment will be provided.
