Department Overview
Join our largest Internal Medicine Clinic that provides essential primary care services focusing on chronic diseases, group wellness visits, home-based primary care, and outreach care. We are looking for a dependable individual who is flexible, collaborates well with the nursing team and providers, and is eager to learn.

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with working hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM based on the provider's schedule, allowing you a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a new provider.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document thorough medical histories from patients.
• Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and their families on prevention and treatment plans under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications
LPN Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• If required, IV therapy/management skills as per North Dakota regulations.

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program with prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• Possess or obtain North Dakota registration as an MAIII within four months of hire if not already held.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of employment with re-certification as necessary.
