Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and medical history assessments to determine donor suitability.
• Establish rapport with donors to promote satisfaction throughout their experience.
• Uphold confidentiality for donors and staff.
• Educate donors on potential hazards and provide health-related counseling.
• Manage donor injuries and adverse events effectively.
• Evaluate donor health history for ongoing suitability.
• Assist in training fellow employees.
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Job Requirements:

Must hold a valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or equivalent, with current CPR certification.

Physical and Communication Skills Required:

• Ability to perform tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Capable of bending, twisting, and performing frequent hand movements.
• Must effectively communicate and convey information to diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
• Possible exposure to biological materials and use of personal protective equipment.
