We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, and LVNs to join our Plasma Donation Center!

Note: Salary is commensurate with licensure and experience.

About the position:

Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor suitability.
Build rapport with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Maintain confidentiality for donors and staff.
Advise donors on potential hazards.
Provide education on general health and counsel on any unacceptable test results.
Evaluate and manage donor injuries and any adverse events.
Assess medical history and medication use to ensure donor eligibility.
Assist in training new employees and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Job requirements:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is essential. Candidates must be certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is required.

Attributes:

Ability to stand and sit for extended periods (2-4 hours daily).
Physical agility including bending, twisting, and movement of hands and feet.
Competence in lifting up to 50 lbs and light lifting of 15 lbs.
Good hearing acuity and color discrimination.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to adapt to varying tasks and unpredictable work demands.
