Licensed Practical Nurse Caregiver

Position Summary: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Caregiver , you play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients in their homes. At Interim Healthcare, you will support a comprehensive range of patient services to ensure comfort and dignity for our clients.

The Role of an LPN Caregiver Includes:

• Providing in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan while closely monitoring patient progress and recovery.
• Assessing and documenting patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Administering medications, insulin, and IV fluids with meticulous documentation.
• Inspecting and caring for wounds, changing dressings, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Evaluating patients for further injuries or infections and delivering appropriate treatments.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a practical (vocational) nursing program for LPN/LVN with a current, unrestricted license in the state.
• Active CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and work locations.
• Experience with trachs and/or ventilators is preferred, but not required.
