Licensed Mental Health Clinician

As a vital member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll play an essential role in transforming healthcare for the better.

In this position, you will address a diverse range of mental health conditions that cater to our varied patient population. We offer a comprehensive range of solutions designed to meet the distinctive needs of both our workforce and the individuals we serve. Our organizational support spans from clinical operations, such as credentialing, to business functions like contracting, allowing you to dedicate your attention where it truly counts—providing excellent care.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the office for three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments for common mental health and substance use disorders.
• Deliver treatment for mental health issues using methodologies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Monitor treatment responses and track changes in clinical symptoms or any treatment-related complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field of counseling.
• Unrestricted and active license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional social work or clinical experience post-Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Proficiency with computer systems for professional communication and documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and EHR systems.
• A demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness.

The salary for this role ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, based on full-time employment, factoring in local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
