Dental Assistant Job Responsibilities

• Work at dental offices, orthodontic practices, and dental surgery centers to help administer patient care during dental cleanings and oral surgery
• Educate patients about procedures and dental maintenance, give instructions for oral care, order x-rays and other scans, and reach out to patients about scheduling routine appointments
• Set up dental exam tables, assist during cleanings and fillings, and handle dental instruments during procedures
• Keep track of administrative duties like scheduling patients, stocking supplies, and billing
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed about treatment, and understand dental wellness
• Ability to work with and troubleshoot various dental, medical, scheduling, and office software

GoTu Dental Assistant Job Requirements

• Must possess an active MN state-issued dental assistant certificate
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practices

All employees will receive a paycheck every Friday for hours worked during the preceding week.
