Responsibilities: Apply specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders, conditions and addictions.

• Administer and interpret tests and measures of psychosocial functioning for the purpose of diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities.
• Develop and implement appropriate assessment-based treatment plans.
• Consult with team managers, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with the patient's treatment plan.
• Provide crisis-oriented psychotherapy as well as short-term and long-term psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment.
• Document patient therapy in accordance with both federal and state regulations.

Requirements: Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
• Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Social Workers obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
• Drivers License.

Education: Master's degree in Social Work required.

Work Experience: 3 years of experience preferred.
