Essential Responsibilities:

1. Verify existing insurance policies and examine relevant terms and stipulations.
2. Engage with claimants, witnesses, and all parties involved to gather comprehensive information on each claim.
3. Research repair costs and obtain quotes from vendors for damages mentioned in claims.
4. Thoroughly review documentation, police reports, and other evidence relevant to claims.
5. Propose innovative solutions during the claims negotiation process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in claims management or as an insurance adjuster.
• Solid understanding of industry insurance policies and the claims process.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with claimants and legal representatives.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ethical decision-making.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site investigations.
• Valid claims adjuster license (NY, CT).
• Advanced knowledge in the industry and excellent negotiation skills.
• Adept at learning new software quickly.
• Outstanding research and writing capabilities.
