Seeking Level 4 Datacenter Technicians

Job Description:

Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside of a hyperscale enterprise DC environment in Mount Pleasant WI.

Level 4 Technicians

• Experience Level: mid to expert level

• Skills:

• 5+ years of dedicated DC Experience Required. Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment

• Strong understanding of fiber optic cabling, splicing, and testing.

• Familiarity with structured cabling standards and physical layer validation.

• Fiber validation

• Ability to follow and improve upon existing SOPs.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

Summary:

The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.

As a Data Center Technician (DCT), you will demonstrate expertise in standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment, as well as a holistic understanding of the functions of, and interactions between, network and server equipment. You will provide input for suggested modifications to these processes and procedures as needed to improve service quality and efficiency while providing guidance to other technicians.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of DC experience.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.

• Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
