We are currently seeking an exceptional individual for the role of Systems Engineering Integration and Test Lead . This position is pivotal within a dynamic team dedicated to creating unique solutions for complex problems. The SEIT Lead will operate in a collaborative matrixed environment, supporting the IFPC Inc 2 program alongside systems, integration, and test engineers.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing large defense systems. You will collaborate with engineering leaders and program management to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of quality systems to our customers. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical acumen, organizational abilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related ABET-accredited degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• Extensive professional experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing of large defense systems in both subject matter expert and leadership capacities.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative engineering environments working closely with engineering, program, and customer leadership teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong grasp of the system development and integration lifecycle, particularly in requirements derivation and verification.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring cross-disciplinary engineering teams through the integration and testing process.
• Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for SEIT, bridging communication between internal engineering teams, program management, and government stakeholders.
• Experience managing program costs, schedules, and technical performance, with familiarity in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Skilled at performing risk assessments, conducting trade studies, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to a range of audiences.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, including software development, hardware design, and manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to planning, testing, and documentation processes.
• A passion for mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance.
• Residents of the North Alabama area or those willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL are encouraged to apply.
• Must possess a secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience communicating effectively regarding mission goals, deadlines, and budget to a large team of SEIT professionals.
• Experience in managing and organizing the work of large SEIT teams to ensure timely program delivery.
• Ability to foster a resilient, high-performing organization.
• Deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues and leading root cause analysis.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
