The Goddard School of Rockville is currently hiring for a qualified pre-k teacher! We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and creative early education professionals to join our team. Duties include:

• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Presenting developmentally appropriate educational expectations
• Meeting the individual needs of the children
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Participation in staff and training meetings

Teacher Qualifications:

• Minimum of MSDE-OCC Teacher requirements (90-hour training)
• Bachelor's degree in education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and communication skills
• Prior classroom experience in early childhood education is preferred.

Starting Salary range $18+ per hour based on experience, education and certifications.

• Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

• 90 Hour Training Certificate (Preferred)
