The Lead Pharmacist, Specialty Mail serves as a department resource answering questions and assisting in resolving issues. Performs a variety of duties to include scheduling, training, prioritizing work and ensuring smooth flow of work to ensure production needs are met. Applies professional judgment in the interpretation and dispensing of patient medication in compliance with the state and federal laws that govern the practice of pharmacy. Dispensing of drugs includes the packaging, preparation, compounding and labeling of drugs.

What You'll Do:

• Verify prescription accuracy and resolve clinical questions
• Substitute generic medications when appropriate
• Provide top-tier customer service to patients and healthcare teams
• Participate in on-call rotation and order checking in our dispensing pharmacy (fully onsite)

What You Bring:

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in Massachusetts
• At least 1+ year of pharmacy experience
• Comfort with Windows-based applications and strong data entry skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred:

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Management experience

Education: BS or PharmD in Pharmacy

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $55.53 - $93.08

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
