Job Summary:

As the Lead MRI Technologist, you'll guide the daily operations of imaging services, ensuring the utmost quality in patient care and imaging workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of imaging quality, patient care, and workflow efficiency.
• Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Act as a resource for department staff and collaborate with team members.
• Conduct staff orientation, training, coaching, and contribute to performance evaluations.
• Position patients accurately and comply with regulatory standards in all activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of images and documentation to PACS.
• Keep a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Operate with a focus on safety and remain vigilant in your duties.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Education:

• Completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and active patient interaction.
• Effective use of vision and hearing for patient care and safety.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as well as carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional bending, twisting, and repetitive motions are required.

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) from American Heart Association.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification.
