We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Line Cook to join our talented culinary team.

As a Lead Line Cook, you will play a key role in the success of our kitchen operations. In addition to preparing high-quality meals, you will assist with supervising daily kitchen activities, supporting junior team members, and ensuring consistency in execution and presentation. This position requires a strong culinary skillset, leadership ability, and the drive to uphold Belfair's high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and member expectations
• Lead and support line staff during service to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
• Assist the Sous Chef in training, mentoring, and developing kitchen staff
• Set up, stock, and maintain workstations and ensure readiness for service
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency across all stations
• Ensure adherence to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Communicate effectively with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams

Qualifications:

• Proven cooking experience, preferably in a private club, resort, or upscale dining environment
• Leadership experience or ability to mentor and support kitchen team members
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and culinary procedures
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
