The Role

The Lead Engineer will be a key member of the Public Sector Solution Integration team, focusing on specialized customers. You will apply advanced engineering and network principles to tackle complex problems, leading the charge in developing and implementing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Make independent decisions to guide the direction of projects toward long-term strategic goals.
• Analyze intricate systems and environments, including planning, designing, and selecting operating systems and protocols, as well as configuring communication devices.
• Oversee the acquisition and implementation of hardware and software, including subcontractor services.
• Act as a primary technical consultant to leadership, outlining necessary technical requirements and specifications.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision on various tasks.

What We Seek in a Candidate

• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering or networking.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, enterprise-level networking, and network security.
• Experience with computer network operations, security technologies, software coding, and cross-domain solutions.
• Availability for on-call support during network outages and maintenance windows.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and minimal travel may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with a keen interest in cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Information Assurance, or Cyber Security programs.
• Familiarity with system security concepts, assessments, threat management, and vulnerability testing.
• Experience in reporting insights and recommendations to federal or commercial leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Security, and Networking (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solution Architect, CCNP, JNCIP).

Compensation

Your compensation will be based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors, with a range from $108,896 to $145,195 in certain states, and $114,082 to $152,109 in others.

Background Screening

Successful applicants will undergo a background screening process that may include criminal records, motor vehicle reports, and drug screening.
