Advanced SQL expertise writing, optimizing, refactoring stored procedures and complex queries for large data sets.

Java & microservices development hands-on experience building APIs, service layers, integrating data logic into Java code.

Data service/middleware layer experience building consumable services from raw/processed data (not traditional data engineering or data science).

Translating SQL to application logic ability to read existing SQL procedures, understand business logic and implement equivalent logic in Java services.

On-shore lead + cross-team coordination working directly with product management, tech leads, and bridging on-shore/offshore teams.

Strong communication and leadership in a technical role mentoring developers, reviewing code, keeping development moving and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead offshore development efforts for the data service layer, translating business requirements into technical implementations.
• Design, build, and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs that integrate complex business and data logic.
• Write, optimize, and refactor advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to support large-scale data operations.
• Convert existing SQL-based logic into Java application logic to create efficient, maintainable services.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and offshore teams to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery timelines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold best practices in service-oriented architecture.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability across environments.
