Lead CT Technologist, Imaging, Baptist Downtown

Overview

Lead CT Technologist, Imaging, Baptist Downtown is a full-time leadership role in the CT Scan Department at Baptist Downtown, Jacksonville, FL. The lead provides supervision, ensures quality care, and oversees day-to-day operations on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervision of second shift CT operations; ensure quality and efficiency
• Operate and calibrate GE CT equipment; perform CT procedures
• Provide patient preparation, IV contrast administration, patient positioning, and process explanations
• Train and mentor staff; assist in performance and equipment evaluation
• Maintain ACR Accreditation; ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Perform quality assurance and equipment maintenance
• Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience: 3-5 years hospital setting; 1-2 years Radiology experience; Customer service experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); ARRT CT; ARRT Radiologic Technologist; Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT); Licensed Radiologic Technologist
