Lead Conveyor Engineer

We're seeking a Lead Conveyor Engineer with 5+ years of experience in bulk material handling systems to guide project execution and design for industrial conveyor systems. This is a leadership role with hands-on technical responsibilities, working closely with the VP of Engineering to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and accurately engineered.

Pay: $55$63/hr (up to $140K$150K direct for highly qualified candidates)

Location: Alpharetta, GA (30005) On-site, MF 85

Travel: Up to 25% during project erection/commissioning phase

Assignment: 6-month TTD or Direct Hire

Key Focus:

• Lead conveyor design efforts including layouts, workpoints, GA drawings, and system integration
• Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Belt Analyst for detailed mechanical design
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, and detailing teams as well as third-party vendors
• Oversee engineering deliverables, manage project resources, and support procurement/construction teams
• Report weekly project progress to the VP of Engineering

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of recent experience in bulk material handling (CEMA conveyor systems preferred)
• Strong skills in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Belt Analyst
• Proven ability to lead design and coordinate cross-discipline engineering efforts
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with heavy industrial equipment, hydraulic/electrical components, and AISC requirements
