Pay: $41.43 - $62.15/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
As the Lead Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform critical diagnostic procedures to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics while guiding a skilled team of sonographers. Your expertise will enhance patient care within the cardiac lab.

Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and evaluations for staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist in coordinating services and prioritize workflow, ensuring efficient problem-solving.
• Handle complex echocardiography procedures, utilizing various transducers to assess both normal and abnormal structures.
• Ensure comprehensive diagnostic data is obtained, analyze results, and identify any quality issues within imaging outputs.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment, working autonomously while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Registered Sonographer: Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer.
• Graduated from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. Must hold RDCS certification from ARDMS, or RCS certification from CCI.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, maintained and valid upon hire.
