Job Summary:

As the Lead Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you will lead a team of skilled professionals in performing essential activities in the cardiovascular services department. Your role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and providing high-quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations within the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Act as a technical resource and collaborate with staff to enhance performance.
• Assign and monitor tasks, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Oversee training and orientation processes for new associates, providing valuable feedback on staff performance.
• Consistently maintain a safe and alert working environment.
• Other duties as assigned to support the department's goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program is required.

Experience: At least two years of relevant professional experience is necessary.

Licenses/Certifications:

Applicants must possess the following:

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within one year of hire.
• State-specific Radiologic Technologist certification.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential.

Physical Requirements: This role requires constant standing and walking, frequent lifting (up to 25 lbs), and occasional lifting of heavier items. Candidates must be able to assist patients and perform various physical tasks as part of their duties.
