As a Lead Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide comprehensive behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs, tailored to our varied patient population.

This is a Monday-Friday role with no evening, weekend, or holiday shifts, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. You'll enjoy the flexibility of working remotely one or two days a week, with the remaining days spent onsite at the medical clinic located at Summit Health Group.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and deliver ongoing medication management.
• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, to treat various mental health conditions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other team members while promoting a culture of improvement.
• Develop innovative strategies and evaluate clinical practices.
• Build strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care effectively with external providers.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• An active, unrestricted LCSW-S license in Tennessee.
• Eligibility for enrollment in the Medicare program or the ability to terminate opt-out prior to starting the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional social work or clinical experience after obtaining your master's degree.
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Proficiency in using computers for communication and medical documentation (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS or similar EHRs).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with effectiveness.

Pay is based on various factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. The salary for this role ranges from $71,200 to $127,200 annually for full-time employment, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
