Director, Lead Actuary

Position: Director, Lead Actuary
Rate: $170-200k
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: Direct Hire
As the Director and Lead Actuary, you will be responsible for all Actuarial functions of a rapidly growing homeowners insurance company. You will drive continual improvement through pricing, reserving and data science functions. You will have the ability and flexibility to take different approaches to traditional actuarial work.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of actuarial experience necessary. Experience working closely with business units and P&L management (rather than in a corporate role) would be highly preferred.
- Management Experience: 2+ years of experience managing teams and projects. Proven positive leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage performance.
