Ldr - Vascular Technologist - 1.0 Day Shift - Henry Ford Macomb Hospital

Under general supervision, coordinates work of Vascular Technologists. Distributes work and handles general staffing problems. Provides training to new employees and performs all duties of the Vascular Technologist as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

  n

• n

  Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a vascular laboratory/diagnostic facility is required.

  Leadership experience is highly preferred.

  n
n

n

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: National Accreditation as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITION: Some discomfort due to room size and heat generated from machines constantly running. May need to push, pull and lift patients and equipment that would be in excess of 100 lbs. (Feb 2012)
