Concrete Technician

Aerotek is hiring immediately! We are seeking a skilled Concrete Technician to join our team in Nashua, NH. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of outdoor construction experience in concrete, with a strong understanding of caulking, patching, or controlled demolition. Applicants must be equipped with a hard hat, steel-toe boots, and basic hand tools such as a 20 oz hammer, pliers, a 25' tape measure, a 12" pry bar, and a speed square. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Responsibilities

• Perform deck repairs on garage slabs and connectors for a large parking garage.
• Conduct joint sealant replacement and overhead soffit repairs.
• Execute caulking, form building, and rebar tying.
• Apply hot epoxy and conduct controlled demolition using chipping guns and jackhammers.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of outdoor construction experience in concrete.
• Knowledge of caulking, patching, and controlled demolition.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as a hammer, pliers, tape measure, pry bar, and speed square.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in masonry, concrete carpentry, and waterproofing.
• OSHA 10 certification is highly desired upon starting. Candidates must be willing to obtain OSHA 10 within 10 days of starting.

Work Environment

Work begins at 7 am and typically lasts for over 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime. Safety is a priority, requiring personal protective equipment to be worn at all times. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and potentially on second shifts or for four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday. Flexibility for weekend work may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
