Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the pet nutrition and healthcare industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team, contributing to vital research and testing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Pay Range: $20 - $26 hourly
What's the Job?

• Plan, organize, and perform laboratory procedures and assays to support research efforts
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment in compliance with GLP standards
• Perform biological and clinical assays such as blood, urinalysis, and fecal tests
• Accurately record and log analytical requests and data for reporting purposes
• Communicate results effectively through technical documentation and reports

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, math, and writing skills
• Computer literacy and familiarity with laboratory software interfaces
