Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in innovative research and development, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Corporate Research Process Lab supporting process and product development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% onstie) 

Pay Range: $20 to $22 p/h w-2
Duration: 12 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Take ownership over a coating process line, working closely with product developers on coating operations and ensuring smooth execution of processes.
• Conduct analytical work, characterizing samples and materials, and performing detailed analysis related to process line experiments.
• Operate and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle chemicals with care, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Document all experimental procedures and results with precision and clarity.

• Experience working with process lines and analytical characterization techniques.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and mechanical equipment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
