Job Summary:
The Lab Technician will assist in the execution of instrumental testing for hair products developed by Client. This role supports the scientific assessment of product performance through data collection, analysis, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and a background in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and execute instrumental testing for hair care and styling products.
Interact with and provide guidance to panelists in a clinical research setting.
Collect, organize, and process data for analysis and reporting.
Maintain laboratory instrumentation and ensure accurate operation and maintenance documentation.
Perform data entry and maintain project tracking spreadsheets.
Prioritize workload and coordinate project schedules with supervisors.
Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills:

Proficiency in laboratory techniques and routine lab work.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
Ability to perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with image analysis, mechanical testing, and data analysis.
Background in hair testing, hairstyling, or cosmetology.
Experience in instrumental evaluation or materials testing environments.

Education:
Non-degree with 5â€“7 years of relevant experience; OR
Associateâ€™s degree with 2â€“3 years of relevant experience; OR
Bachelorâ€™s degree with 1â€“2 years of relevant coursework or work experience.
Preferred fields of study: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or related areas.
