Lab Technician - Lithium Refinery

Our client, an innovative leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a Lab Technician – Lithium Refinery to join their team. As a Lab Technician – Lithium Refinery, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the testing and evaluation of lithium materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician – Lithium Refinery

Location: Robstown, TX

Pay Range: $25-$35 per hour

What's the Job?

• Focus on lithium materials inspection, testing, and release from the QC lab.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean lab environment using 5S principles.

• Plan, procure, organize, and operate test equipment for material analysis.

• Conduct chemical, physical, and electrochemical characterization of materials utilizing advanced analytical techniques such as ICP-OES, PSA, XRD, and others.

• Document data accurately in the quality database following test procedures and process documentation.

What's Needed?

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant hands-on experience accepted.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with analytical techniques in a laboratory setting.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Experience with advanced analytical techniques for materials characterization.

• Strong organizational, data management, and communication skills.
